My three favorite beauty products for the week

Hello Beautiful,

Here are my three favorite beauty products for this week.

1) Too Faced-Lip Insurance $19.00 This lip primer is hydrating and works great for people that put on a lip product and it bleeds into fine lines around the mouth. This anti-feathering product is quick-drying and locks in lip products so they won't fade, feather or transfer.

2) Aveda-Nourish-Mint Renewing Lip Treatment $16.00 This lip treatment smooths the appearance of fine lines helping with lip products bleeding. Over time the lips become naturally plump using organic spearmint and has a vanilla flavor.

3) MAC-Prep + Prime Lash $17.00 This lash primer gives lashes a plump-undercoat under mascara making it last longer, lashes become more intense and longer. This product smoothes and conditions lashes and works good under any mascara formulas.

Thank You very much for taking time out to read my beauty blog. If you have any comments, questions or want me to do a beauty product review please comment in the box below.

Tuesday tip Dec. 2nd 2014

Hi Beautiful,

Hello! I thought this would be a great holiday season tip. Crush up a sparkly eyeshadow you never use and mix it with clear nail polish for your own custom shade.

I hope that you and yours had a great Thanksgiving Day.

Stay Beautiful,
Heather Williams

Black Friday! Three of my favorite beauty products for this week

Hello Beautiful,

Happy Black Friday! Here are my top three favorites for this week....

1)  Aveda-Inner light mineral loose powder $30.00 This loose powder comes in one shade 01 Translucent. This luminous sheer coverage powder has a semi-matte finish and has reflective minerals that reduce shine and the appearance of fine lines and pores. I love to finish my makeup with this product before I spray my finishing product, it makes skin look flawless.

2) Sephora-Daily makeup brush cleaner and antibacterial spray $15.00 This product is a MUST for my makeup kit because it's great when I'm doing makeup with back to back clients. This brush cleaner removes traces of makeup between applications with no rinsing. Disinfecting and protecting your makeup brushes prolongs their life, once a week I do a deep cleanse with baby shampoo to keep them soft and clean.

3) Hourglass-Veil Mineral primer $52.00 for 1oz. This product is mineral-based, water resistant and has an SPF 15. Why I like this primer is because it neutralizes the the skin, minimizes shine for a flawless makeup application. Also, it absorbs excess oils and softens skins imperfections and fine lines.

Thank You so much for taking time out of your busy holiday season to read my beauty blog. If you have any comments, questions or you would like me to do a review on a beauty product please comment in the box below.

Tuesday November 11th 2014

Hello Beautiful,

This weeks beauty tip came from one of my fellow professional makeup artist friends. The standard for picking up powder makeup is get the product on the brush tip down to the floor, tap off the excess then apply. The latest tip is to pick up makeup powder in the brush just like before but then turn the brush bristles up and tap the end of the brush on a hard surface. This technique taps the powder makeup in the bristles more, it saves on makeup and makes for a great pigmented application.

Thank You for viewing my Tuesday tips. If you'd like to share a makeup tip please comment in the box below I would love to publish it for you on my blog!

Aveda inner light concealer

Hello Beautiful,

This weeks beauty product review is on Aveda's inner light concealer. I have several concealer's in my makeup collection and I'm finding myself reaching for this concealer almost every day. This light weight creamy concealer camouflages darkness, hides under eye puffiness and adds radiance with infused reflective minerals. It's a multifunctional concealer not only does it hide imperfections but it also fills in fine lines, and you can use it on eyelids and lips for extra long wear for your lipstick and eyeshadow. The inner light concealer is full coverage and dries quickly once applied and blended leaving a semi-matte finish. It's long-wearing, crease resistant and great for my sensitive eyes and skin that is why it's one of my favorite concealers. I've found that when I wear this concealer and set it with powder I can skip liquid foundation. It alone balances out my completion and comes with a doe foot applicator for precise application. It comes in 6 different shades making it great for all ethnicities. This product has been tested by Ophthalmologists, is aroma-free and non-acnegenic.

Six shades are:

Fair skin
*Birch
*Balsa

 Medium Skin
*Hazelnut
*Bamboo

Deep skin
*Pecan
*Nutmeg

I recommend the Aveda inner light concealer to anyone because it's one of my most highly used concealer's in my makeup collection because of all it's wonderful benefits. This concealer is $18.00 and can be purchased at Aveda.com or at your nearest Aveda store. This product is environmentally friendly and like all of Aveda's products it's made from natural sources.

Aveda Petal Essence Eye Definer

Hi Beautiful,

This weeks beauty product review is on Aveda's Petal Essence Eye Definer. I'm going to single out one of the 6 shades #910 Sepia which is a matte taupe. This eye definer is unique because you can use it on your eyes as an eyeliner or to fill in your eyebrows. The Petal Essence Eye Definer's are made from Jasmine petals and Geranium leaves, the flower waxes make this product creamy, blendable, and smooth for easy application. The eye definer pencils are highly pigmented, stays true to color so you can line, define, accent or shade. The formula of the eye definer goes on smoothly while still respecting the delicate skin around the eye. When using these eye definer's smudge a thin line softly along the eye's for a subtle effect. If your wanting more intensity or the illusion of thicker lashes layer the eye's with more product. While applying the eye definer pencil make sure it's sharp and apply it before your favorite eye color for longer wear.

The six shades:

*Sepia-medium matte taupe
*Cacao-deep matte chocolate brown
*Wild Indigo-matte midnight blue
*Black Orchid-matte jet black
*Delphinium-cool vibrant blue
*Fresh Plum-cool rich eggplant

The picture is showing a swatch of my favorite shade #910 Sepia

I highly recommend Aveda's Petal Essence Eye Definer for all skin types, and you can get them for $17.00 each online or at your closest Aveda store. This product has been Ophthalmologist-tested and the packaging has the FSC logo on it meaning it's in accordance with the rules of the forest stewardship council.

Thank You very much for viewing my beauty blog. If you have any comments, questions, or would like me to do a review on a beauty product please comment in the box below.

My Latest Favorite Lippie

Hello Beautiful,

My latest beauty product obsession is the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams. I was working with another makeup artist (Kassie) the other day and I was loving her lip color. She told me that it was the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in shade Stockholm. This was the perfect nude lip shade that anyone with any skin type could use. These highly pigmented matte lip creams are neither a lipstick or a lip gloss, making these lip creams unique. They go on silky smooth and set to a matte finish, there are over 22 different shades to please any kind of ethnicity. The soft matte lip cream is durable, creamy and lightweight. The winner of Temptalia 2012 editor's choice awards you can find these lip creams in select drug stores like CVS and NYX online, prices ranging from $6.00 to $7.00. To get the best results apply a very moisturizing lip treatment like Philosophy hope in a tube eye and lip cream before application because the lip creams tend to dry out your lips. Apply the lip cream directly to the lips or over lipstick, and for a more defined look line your lips with a lipliner then apply the lip cream.

My top favorite shades:

*Addis Ababa-bright fuchsia
*Stockholm-muted rose
*Tokyo-baby pink
*Antwerp-coral

Aveda Petal Essence Face Accents

Hello Beautiful,

This weeks favorite beauty product is the Aveda Petal Essence Face Accents. As a freelance makeup artist for Aveda I am getting to know their line well. I'm very passionate about a lot of their products, but I just want to let you know that I will always stay true to myself and my beliefs when it comes to referring beauty products to you.  I've found that with every cosmetic line they have their are super-stars and no brand that I've come across in my 11 years of doing makeup have I found a cosmetic line that carries all super-stars. The reason why I choose to do Aveda's Petal Essence Face Accents is because they are AMAZING!!! The Face Accents are tri-colored palettes meaning that one palette has it's own bronze, highlight, and flush/blush all in one. These flower-based face powder's come in 6 different shades and are long wearing, blend and build able. I feel that I'm reaching for the Face Accents more and more because with the tri-colored palettes it adds more dimension to the face unlike one shade blushes that just give you a sold color effect. I'm a sufferer of Rosacea on my cheeks so I'm very careful to only use products that are Talc and Mineral Oil free like the Aveda Face Accents. They are also infused with aromatic florals including soothing certified organic lavender.

My top 3 favorites are:

*Bronze Glow-great for an all over glow....focus color on nose, forehead, chin and cheeks

*Peach Lights-for a warm accent of color

*Plum Touch-great for a nice rosy glow

Other great face accents:

*Tesserae-fair to medium skin

*Apricot Whisper-fair to medium skin

*Rose Blossom-medium to dark skin

The reason why I'm not swatching all of the different shades on my arm is because I have fair skin and the shades would look differently on me as they would on a dark skin type person. I will be taking pictures of clients as I freelance for Aveda so you can see them on all different types of skin. I highly recommend ALL of the Aveda Petal Essence Face Accent Palettes, they are $24.00 each and you can purchase them online or at your closest Aveda store. The packaging is in 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) clam shell and paper sleeve.

Thank You very much for viewing my beauty blog! If you have any comments, questions or want me to do a product review please leave a comment in the box below. Stay tuned for my tip's and trick's Tuesday blog next week!

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara and Subversion Eyelash Base

Hello Gorgeous Viewing Beauty Blogger's

As a beauty product reviewer I try almost everything that comes out new in beauty cosmetics both high end and Drugstore brands. I'm going to review the new Urban Decay Perversion Mascara and Subversion Eyelash Base. This review is going to give you my Pro's and Con's on this new Urban Decay product.

Pro's
*Intense black pigmentation
*Ultra creamy
*Lengthens and volumes lashes
*The mascara wand was very good for this mascara formulation
*Contains Hairdensyl that stimulates lash growth

Con's
*Application to lashes is very wet and it takes a minute or two to dry
*Flakes, smudges and raccoons within a two hour time period

Why I was excited to try the new Urban Decay Perversion Mascara and Subversion eyelash base is that it can be layered. I was not impressed by this product and I returned it back to the store within a week of trying it. I thought that the Subversion eyelash base was good but not great.

Thank You very much for taking time to read my beauty blog! If you have any comments, questions, or you would like me to do a beauty product review please leave a comment in the box below.

Aveda nourish-mint rehydrating lip glaze

Hello Beautiful,

This weeks blog is going to be about my favorite Aveda product, it's the nourish-mint rehydrating lip glaze. I have been loving this Aveda lip glaze for years, and I feel that it's one of the best on the market. The lip glaze comes in 15 different shades, and has a shade range from nude to bold making it great for all skin types. It's formulation is infused with plant emollients making your lips feel moisturized and plump helping to hide those fine lines that lips have. This lip glaze is also made with organic vanilla, pomegranate oil, and mint aroma making your lips feel and look amazing for hours. I like how the lip glaze applies to the lips, it goes on evenly not sticky like most other lip gloss products. The lip glaze has a satin shine finish and you can layer this over other lip colors for a more intense look.

My top seven favorite shades:

Fair skin

*Mango Juice-shimmery peach
*Agave Nectar-shimmery beige nude
*Pink Lotus-bright pink
*Rose Blush-rosy pink

Fair to Medium skin

*Cherry Blossom-blue based red
*Raspberry Tea-nude pink

Medium to Dark skin

*Morning Rose-deep rose
*Wineberry-shimmery plum

Dark skin

*Mangosteen-deep red-violet

I think that Aveda has done a great job with the nourish-mint rehydrating lip glaze shades and formulations. This power packed lip glaze is a regular staple in my professional makeup kit and I feel it's affordable at $18.00 each. I have repurchased this product many times and I highly recommend this rehydrating lip glaze to any of my makeup clients. Also, I like that Aveda is helping to save the environment by making the shell of the lip glaze out of 100% recycled news print.

Thank You very much for taking the time out to read my beauty blog! If you have any comments, questions or you would like me to blog about a beauty product please leave a comment in the box below. Stay tuned to my blog for Tuesday tip's and tricks!

Welcome Aveda! Fall 2014

Hello Beautiful,

This beauty blog is going to be about my interactions with the Aveda store in Santa Barbara, CA. I know that this blog is a bit wordy but all the details are important to know, to see what a blessing this was for me. I have always been a big fan of Aveda products, my first exposure was when I first moved to Santa Barbara, CA 14 yrs ago. When I shopped at the Aveda store I didn't want to leave because it always smells so good and earthy. I was greeted as soon as I walked through the front door, and if someone was unavailable to help me right away they said they would be right with me. I felt the Aveda store was very inviting both with the friendly staff and wonderful earthy smells, and I always knew that I would get great customer service.

My most recent interaction at the Aveda store in Santa Barbara, CA happened this year on my birthday April 30th, 2014. I went to the Aveda Store to redeem my birthday gift and was pleasently greeted by Sandra the store manager. She helped me pick out my pure-fume spirit spray, which I'm still loving. Sandra asked my husband and I if we would like a complementary hand massage with Stress-fix cream, so we said sure, it was great! Sandra was rubbing my hand when she got to a spot on my hand and I said that I wasn't pregnant. She wanted to know how I knew that information. I told her that I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, Freelance Makeup Artist, Beauty Blogger and a Licensed Esthetician. Sandra encouraged me to come and do Freelance Makeup for a surf charity. Unfortunately, the dates didn't work out and I was unable to help.  Sandra and I had kept in touch through e-mails sporadically, and she kindly said if I wanted to do Aveda Events in the future to let her know.

I recently sent Sandra an e-mail telling her that I would love to work with her and the team at the next Aveda special event.  We just had an event (Romantic Grandeur) last weekend and it went great, I had so much fun!  This is a dream for me and is the most exciting news I have had to share with all of you in a long time.

I am now a Freelance Makeup Artist for Aveda events and I'm going to be blogging about the different Aveda products. I feel like my dream for doing makeup has finally come true. Working with Aveda has been over the top, they are being so generous to me and I feel it's one of the best companies to work for. Thank You Aveda and Sandra for making my dreams come true, and I'm looking forward to a very prosperous future together. Thanks Again!

Three of my Favorite Summer Beauty Products

Hello Gorgeous Beauty Viewing Blogger's

I'm sorry I haven't been blogging, I've had several life setbacks but I'm finally getting back to doing fun things like beauty blogging. My first favorite beauty product is the new Dial Frozen Yogurt price $5.49. This cooling body wash feels very refreshing on a hot summer day, it also has yogurt proteins for hydration and healthy skin. My second favorite beauty product is the new L'Oreal Paris Extraordinarie by Color Riche Liquid Lipcolor, it's a moisturizing high shine liquid lip color and it comes in 16 shades price $9.99 each. This lipgloss smells like cotton candy, leaves lips looking wet and moisturized like a lip balm and has staying power like a lip stain. My favorite shade is Coral Encore, it has just enough pink and coral making it perfect for the hot summer days on the beach. Finally, my third favorite beauty product is the new Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder in Highlighter 01 price $36.00. This highlighter is a light beige-pink radiant matte powder. It's great for highlighting your cheek bones, make sure you use a light touch because this powder is extremely pigmented and it's easy to feel over illuminated.

Thank You very much taking time to view my beauty blog. If you have any comments, questions, or would like me to do a beauty product review please comment in the box below.

Tarte Golden Days and Sultry Nights Palette

Hello Gorgeous Beauty Viewing Blogger's,

This weeks beauty product review is on the new Tarte's Golden Days and Sultry Nights Eyeshadow Palette. This palette contains Limited-Edition Collector's Eyeshadows, featuring 5 new Amazonian Clay shadows in warm shades. The warm shades give a sun kissed, glow making it a must have palette for the summer time. Tarte uses Amazonian Clay to balance and nourish the eyelids while locking the high pigmentation in place for longer wear. Tarte also uses Vitamin E which is a natural preservative that has anti-inflammatory emollient and antioxidants making mineral pigments soothe and soften the eyelids.

The Limited Edition shades are:

*Toes in the Sand (matte ivory)
*Espadrilles (matte taupe)
*Caipirinha Cocktails (gold)
*Ocean View (Jade)
*Tropical Sunset (Bronze)

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone and would repurchase in the future. The shades in this Tarte eyeshadow palette are perfect colors for the summer. The packaging that the palette comes in is very nice and bright. The eyeshadows have nice pigmentation, easy application, good quality, and there long-lasting. The only thing that might be an issue with some is that this palette just has neutral colors, so there are no dramatic shades. Places that you can purchase this new Tarte eyeshadow palette are Ulta, Sephora, and online at Tartecosmetics.com the cost is $36.00  3x0.09 oz., 2x0.11 oz.

Thank You very much for taking time out to read my beauty blog. If you have any comments, questions, or you would like me to do a beauty review on a product please comment in the box below.

The Seven Grossest Celebrity Beauty Secrets

Hello Gorgeous Beauty Blog Viewers

In this Beauty Blog I will talk about the seven grossest celebrity beauty secrets....This information came from a web site called Daily Makeover. Enjoy!

1) Cameron Diaz doesn't "Believe in antiperspirant" and hasn't used it in almost 20 years.

2) Snooki uses kitty litter to clean, clarify, and exfoliate her facial skin.

3) Jessica Simpson doesn't brush her teeth. She just uses Listerine mouthwash and occasionally scrubs them down with her sweater.

4) Cindy Crawford mixes full fat milk and water in a spray bottle as a toner, and moisturizer.

5) Heather Locklear rubs semen on her face because it has antioxidants and anti-aging benefits.

6) Sienna Miller had a mishap turning her blonde hair green. She used ketchup to counteract the unwanted tones.

7) Sandra Bullock uses medicated Preparation H hemorrhoid cream to cure under eye wrinkles and puffiness.

Thank You very much for taking time out to read my beauty blog. I have to say the grossest one of all seven is #5 Heather Locklear....does she not know about professional skin care products???

Celebrating My 50th Blog! Random Collection of Inspiring Words

Hello Gorgeous Viewing Beauty Bloggers,

YEA!!! I'm Celebrating my 50th blog post....Thank You very much for all of the page views I really enjoy doing the beauty product blog's! In celebrating my 50th beauty blog I'm doing random collections of great inspiriting words. In the near future I'll be starting to do beauty tutorials on YouTube I'm very excited to begin....I'll send out a blog as soon a I start.

Great Inspiring Words:

*Do what you love, and love what you do.

*To make a difference in someone's life you don't have to be brilliant, rich, beautiful, or perfect.
You just have to care enough and be there.

*Don't choose the one who is beautiful, choose the one who makes your world beautiful.

*A man once asked his Father, "Father, how will I ever find the right woman" his Father replied
"forget finding the right woman, focus on being the right man."

*Change of attitude starts with a change of perspective.

*Silence is not always a sign of weakness; It's also a sign of strong self control.

*Life is a continuous battle. It doesn't matter how many battles you've won or lost; what matters is that you fought. learned. and survived.

*Encouragement is the spark that ignites the strength of a weakened soul.

*Believe that when there's no more possible solution, there's still a miracle.

*Sometimes the best thing you can do is not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess. Just breathe and have faith that everything will work out for the best.

*Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.

*I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of Ill's. It's probably the most important thing in a person.  -Audry Hepburn

*When life gives you more than you can stand...kneel.

*"Be a reflection of what you'd like to see in other's. If you want love, give love. If you want honesty, give honesty. If you want respect, give respect. You get in return what you give."

*There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. Surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the one's who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy.

*Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.

*Life is all about balance, finding joy in even the most challenging times.

*Leave the past behind, accompany the present, and unite with the future.

*Be a force of beauty...pretty is what you are, but beauty is what you do with it.

*The three C's of life choices, chances, changes....you must make a choice to take a chance or your life will never change.

*There is a beauty in aging. As we grow a bit older we should treasure the added wisdom that life experience continually brings. After all, we've had more time to get to know ourselves, and feel more confident of who we are.

*Some people seek perfection in others because deep inside they know that they can't find it within themselves.

Thank You so much for viewing my Blog! These random collections of great inspiring words are how I've learned to choose happy as soon as I wakeup in the morning....make this day beautiful!!!!

Sincerely,
Heather Williams, L.E.

Inspiring Words

Hello Gorgeous Beauty Viewing Blogger's

This week I have hand picked some Inspiring Words from external sources and I would love to pass them along to you. I hope you feel inspired like I did!

* Makeup is not a tool meant to make an ugly thing beautiful, it is meant only to magnify the beauty that already exists.

* Marry a man that will waste your lipstick, not your mascara.

* Beauty comes from within and makeup is a way to express what one feels inside.

* All is fair in love and lipstick.

* Vanity is the spice of life.

* Attitude is a small thing that makes a big difference.

* Make confidence the must-have accessory.

* Family isn't always blood. It's the people on your life who want you in theirs; The ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile and love you no matter what.

* Believing involves thinking, talking, and acting as though you have already received what you've asked for.

* True love and loyal friends are two of the hardest things to find.

* How to be confident:
   -Stop comparing
   -Think positively
   -Accept mistakes
   -Don't let anyone define you
   -Set personal goals
   -Get a makeover
   -Do something you love
   -Spend time with yourself
   -Be comfortable with yourself ALWAYS!!!

* Be confident in the skin your in, because that is the only body you will ever have, the only place that will ever be solely yours. Even if you will never be as skinny as those super models, or the beauty who makes everyone stare, you can be beautiful in your own way. And you have to accept that, and own it.

* Cry. Forgive. Learn. Move on. Let your tears water the seeds of your future happiness.

* You are beautiful....pass it on.

* We all have times when life feels hard; When we're frustrated and tired and just want to hide away. If that's you right now, don't worry every caterpillar has to rest to become a butterfly and you'll soon find your wings again. In the mean time, let your angels wrap you in theirs. You are so loved.

* Love is the most valuable thing in life.

Thank You very much for taking time out to view my Blog. If I've inspired just one person than that will be one of my greats accomplishments.

Make it a Beautiful day TODAY!!!

e.l.f. HD Under Eye Setting Powder

Hello Gorgeous Beauty Viewing Blogger's

This weeks beauty product review is on the e.l.f. HD Under Eye Setting Powder. This finely milled powder is great for setting under eye concealer. It is long lasting, has great coverage, makes eyes look awake, bright, and hydrated. It is a multi-tasking powder making it a great day time highlighter for eyes and cheeks..... it also helps in avoiding mascara smudging. As a Makeup Artist it's important that it has HD light diffusing properties making it perfect for on camera or daily use. This eye setting powder also camouflages fine lines, dark circles, and imperfections. The silky powder adds a velvety finish ideal for wearing it alone or setting in cream concealer. As an Licensed Aesthetician It's important to me that the makeup I recommend has skin care benefits as well as a great makeup product. This under eye powder is infused with vitamins C and K that helps restore and strengthen skin for a revitalized appearance. I use my finger for application, you can also use a triangel sponge and dab it underneath eyes like an eraser.

CON'S

* The brush that comes with the powder doesn't give the best application
* The powder has finely milled sparkles

I recommend the e.l.f. HD Under Eye Setting Powder to anyone who is uncomfortable with dark circles and fine lines. This powder is easy to apply, has good pigmentation, and has a smooth application. The only real drawback to this product is the finally milled sparkles, the way I get around that is using an eye shadow brush and blend. I think for the price it's something to check out it's $3.00 size .04 oz/1.2 g and you can get it where e.l.f. products are sold.

Thank You very much for taking time out to view my beauty blog. If you have any comments, questions or you would like me to do a beauty product review please leave it in the comments box below.

Clinique Lash Power Feathering Mascara

Hello Gorgeous Beauty Viewing Blogger's

This weeks beauty review is on the brand New Clinique Lash Power Feathering Mascara. I was shopping at the Ulta in Goleta, CA and I stopped by to talk to Morgan Morrison the greatest Clinique Consultant ever. It's very nice to have a friend in the beauty retail business that knows that I do beauty product reviews for other cosmetic lines. I was able to try the New Clinique Lash Power Feathering Mascara for the first time at that Clinique counter. Morgan and I opened the new mascara  and she watched as I applied it to my lashes. The mascara claims to give feathering benefits, I agree somewhat that it does what it claims to do. Things that I LIKED about the New Clinique Lash Power Feathering Mascara are it lengthens, looks natural, nice brush for application, keeps the lashes separate and is very easy to remove with warm water or eye makeup remover. I left Ulta to continue my shopping and I checked out the mascara 30 minutes after initial application and it had already started to flake. The things that I felt the mascara was LACKING are it's not buildable, mascara didn't stick to lashes, goes on dry, light black in coloring, flakes and smudges quickly and doesn't make lashes fuller. This mascara comes in two shades Black Onyx and Dark Chocolate and is $17.50 a tube.

I do NOT recommend the New Clinique Lash Power Feathering Mascara to my Beauty Blogger's. I feel like Clinique is trying to be competitive with other cosmetic lines introducing a fiber mascara and it was unsuccessful. My personal rating of this mascara is a six out of ten. Although this beauty product didn't stack up to other fiber mascaras, I do enjoy other beauty and skin care products from the Clinique line. Thank You Morgan for letting me be a part of product sampling the new Clinique Mascara.

Thank You so much for taking the time out to read my beauty blog. If you have any comments, questions, or if you would like me to do a product review please comment in the box below.

Heather Williams, L.E.

P.S. If you have a favorite eye wrinkle cream can you please post it in my comments box....I'm still searching!!!

Food For Thought!

Hello Gorgeous Beauty Viewing Blogger's

I have been collecting a colrabtion of my favorite Sayings and Poem's....I hope you get inspired like I was!

* It's not who you are that holds you back. It's who you think your not.

* An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. When life is dragging you back with difficult ties, it means it's going to launch you into something great. So just focus, and keep aiming.

* This too shall pass. When things are bad remember it won't always be this way. Take one day at a time. When things are good, remember it won't always be this way so enjoy every great moment.

* Unless you learn to face your own shadows, you will continue to see them in others, because the world outside you is only a reflection of the world inside you.

* It's not about the destination, its about the journey.

* Change can be scary, but what's scarier? Allowing fear to stop you from growing, evolving, and progression.

* Good Friend's care for each other, close friend's understand each other, but true friend's stay forever
          -Beyond words
          -Beyond distance
          -Beyond time

* Smile happiness looks gorgeous on you.

* Your greatness test is when you are able to bless someone else, while your going through your own storm.

* To be rich, is not what you have in your bank account, but what you have in your heart.

* A good relationship is with someone who knows all your insecurities and imperfections and still loves you for who you are.

* Laughter is an instant vacation.

* When people stare make it worth their while.

* As you lift your own life up through good thoughts, words, and deeds you lift up the entire human race.

* Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.

* A recent study has found that women who carry a little extra weight, live longer than the men who mention it.

* Don't give up! It's not over. The universe is balanced. Every set-back bears with it the seeds of a come-back.

* If you have a family that loves you, a few good friends, food on your table and a roof over your head. You are richer than you think.

* Life is short, so fall in love with as many things as possible.

* A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, laugh a lot, and realize how blessed you really are.

A beauty friend of mine Jackie Briggs, that works at the Ulta store in Goleta, CA recommended this product to me and I've been using and loving it and in my mind it's the best liquid foundation to date. Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream for Eyes SPF 15

Hello My Gorgeous Beauty Viewing Blogger's

This weeks love of mine is the new Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream for Eyes with a Broad Spectrum of SPF 15. I actually bought this product at a Makeup Show in Los Angeles, CA a few weekends ago. I talked to one of the Smashbox makeup Artists about the new BB eye cream and she told me if I bought anything this is what I should buy. I had her apply it on me and I was astounded by the way it applied, blended, and it lasted the whole day. I kept checking the BB eye cream in the mirror throughout out the day, and it didn't crease in my fine lines, and it stayed put. Another benefit using the BB eye cream is that it blends beautifully, and flawlessly with your foundation. The easy to use brush tip applicator makes for precise application, and this product is buildable but stays looking light weight. The BB eye cream is great for your skin, and is suitable for all skin types. A little bit of product goes a long way because it's very pigmented. The BB eye cream has many different uses, for example: it helps eyeshadow not crease, it can be used for contouring the brow bones creating the illusion of a lifted brow, primes, protects, conceals, hydrates, and illuminates.

Five different shades available :

  • Fair
  • Light
  • Light/Medium
  • Medium
  • Dark

Product Benefits:

  • Fades the look of dark circles instantly and over time
  • Reduces the appearance of puffiness
  • Visibly smoothes fine lines and wrinkles
  • Noticeably improves firmness

I highly recommend the Smashbox BB eye cream with SPF 15 to all my blog viewers, It's everything that a BB cream does, and it has very thing you'd want in an eye cream making it my favorite under eye concealer to date. The BB eye cream can be purchased where ever Smashbox is sold, for $25.00 .12 fl. oz. Way to go Smashbox for creating this wonderful game changer, offering both under eye concealer and under eye skin care combine!!!

Thank You very much for taking time out of your day to view my Beauty Blog. If you have any comments, questions, or you would like me to do a review on a beauty product please leave it in the comment box below.

Clinique Airbrush Concealer

Hello Gorgeous Beauty Viewing Blogger's

This weeks featured beauty product is the Clinique Airbrush Concealer, It's main benefits are to Illuminate and Perfect under the eye, small blemishes, uneven skin tone, and redness areas. This concealer is a liquid pin that flows through a smooth brush allowing for great precision and gives sheer coverage when applied. Also, this concealer has Illuminating properties that can double as a highlight, and doesn't settle into lines and wrinkles. It's suitable for all skin types, and can be used on upper eye lids as a highlight base that can be worn alone or under powder eyeshadow. This concealer when first applied instantly softens the look of fine lines and wrinkles. It's Ophthalmologist tested and is available in three shades: Fair, Neutral Fair, and Medium.

How to get the best application results:
  • Apply on bare skin or over foundation
  • Finger-blend into the skin using a light, patting motion
  • Build-able coverage by adding more when needed
Things to be considered:
  • Avoid rubbing once application is complete
  • First application usually requires several full turns to initially dispense the product on the applicator
  • Tap it on the skin instead of rubbing it in

That wraps up the beauty product of this week, this item can be purchased anywhere Clinique Products are being sold for $19.50, it's worth the money if your dealing with slight dark circle coverage, and your chief complaint is concealer settling in fine lines and wrinkles. I recommend this product to people that want sheer undereye coverage that won't collect in fine lines and wrinkles.

Thank You so much for viewing and supporting my weekly beauty blogg's. If you have any comments, questions, or you would like me to do a review on a beauty product please comment in the box bellow.

NYX Butter Lip Gloss

This weeks love of mine is the NYX Butter Gloss, they provide nourishment with a flush of color on your lips giving you the perfect smile. I apply the lip gloss alone or over my favorite lipstick making my lips appear more voluptuous. It has a creamy sheer to medium coverage, and melts onto your lips like butter when applied. e.l.f. Studio High Definition Powder

Hello Gorgeous Beauty Viewing Blogger's

This weeks beauty review is on the e.l.f. Studio High Definition Powder. I bought this powder because I read in Pintrest that it was a duplicate for the Dior Skin Loose Powder costing $52.00. I thought what do I have to loose I could try it out for only $6.00 at Target, making it a fraction of the cost of the competition. The e.l.f. HD Powder is a versatile loose powder that creates a flawless soft effect to the skin. It also masks fine lines and imperfections for a Glowing, Radiant Complexion. The microfine particles are designed to be used with High-Definition Cameras, and everyday use making it a favorite with makeup artist and customers. The invisible powder is great for everyday use alone or over your favorite foundation to set it. The e.l.f. Studio High Definition Powder comes in three different shades, making it suitable for all skin types.

Three Shades:
-Translucent
-Shimmer
-Corrective Yellow

I have to say that I'm very impressed with the e.l.f. Studio High Definition Powder, and I highly recommend it. This is one affordable beauty buy at $6.00 size 8g offers you more bang for your buck without compromising the quality.

Thank You so much for viewing my beauty blog. If you have any comments, questions, or you would like me to do a review on a beauty product please comment in the box below.

Hello Gorgeous Beauty Blogger's

This weeks favorite beauty product is the Anastasia's Brow Wiz. I like it because the ultra-fine mechanical lead brow pencil tip helps fill in sparse areas of the brows, leaving a natural appearance of tiny hairs. The Brow Wiz is a dual-ended mechanical pencil on one end and a spooley brush on the other end. Which creates a fuller brow look that's easy and convenient. Also, the mechanical lead pencil saves on product, so you don't have to sharpen after each use therefore the pencil tip is always sharp. I like that the Brow Wiz has a wide variety of shades making it easy for all skin tones to get a great match.

Available in 6 shades:
-Ash Blonde
-Caramel
-Medium Ash
-Soft Brown
-Brunette
-Ebony

The Brow Wiz is Dermatologist Tested and Non-Comedogenic making it suitable for sensitive skin. I have tried out several brow pencil's and they just don't measure up to the Brow Wiz as far as the shade selection and how natural of a look you can get. I highly recommend this product, it is $21.00 and you can purchase
it were Anastasia products are sold.

e.l.f. Eye Enhancing Mascara

Hello Gorgeous Viewing Beauty Blogger's

This week's review is on the new e.l.f. Eye Enhancing Mascara. I was in Target and saw that e.l.f. had some new products that they have launched. I thought I would try out one of their Mascara's for $3.00 how could I go wrong. This mascara is not a new love for me BUT it surprised me how well it applied to my lashes and how long lasting it was. This mascara is my go to when I'm in a hurry and I don't have the time to tube my lashes with my favorite mascara. What I love the most about the e.l.f. mascara is the brush, it has a silicone shape that coats every lash for a clump-free, smudge-free, Volumized look. This mascara also has light reflecting metallic eye enhancing features making it designed to complement the color of your eyes.

This mascara comes in three different shades:
-Black Diamond
-Black Citrine
-Black Sapphire

This mascara by e.l.f. is easy to remove, has a dryer formula so it looks more natural on the lashes and at the end of the day there was no raccooning, smudges, or flacking. I have to give it to e.l.f. for making such a great affordable beauty buy with this awesome new mascara for $3.00. I highly recommend this mascara because you get a great bang for your buck.

The Original Beauty Blender

Hello Gorgeous Viewing Beauty Blogger's

I was looking through all my makeup and brushes that I've collected over the years and I came across the Beauty Blender and it instantly became my old/new love for this week. The Beauty Blender is an ergonomically designed non-disposable sponge that can be used on all types of makeup. The sponge is very versatile and can be used to apply loose powder, mineral cosmetics, and eye shadow application. It's shape is similar to an egg one end is round and the smaller end is a small round
tip, making application easy for concealer, under the eyes, and around the nose areas. This super eco-friendly sponge comes with an instructional pamphlet so you can get great application techniques, allowing for a flawless airbrushed finish. The Beauty Blender is a non-latex product, hypoallergenic, and with proper care it can last three to four months.

Two ways to clean your Beauty Blender:

-Liquid sponge cleanser that comes in a bottle
-Round container with solid sponge cleanser

The Beauty Blender comes in three shades Black, White, and Pink. I got my Beauty Blender at Sephora and it was $19.95 but I know that you can get the spounge a lot cheaper on line at different web sites where it is sold. I highly recommend this beauty product, if your looking to buy one make sure you get "The Original Beauty Blender" because there are dups out there from other makeup brands that don't work near as well. The Original Beauty Blender is an Allure Best of Beauty Award Winner.

e.l.f. Flawless Finish Foundation SPF 15 Oil Free

Hello Gorgeous Viewing Blogger's

While I was out of town, I got a chance to go by a Target store and get some  e.l.f. products.  I will be reviewing my recently purchased e.l.f. products that I'm loving. My new love for this week is the e.l.f. Flawless Finish Foundation it's Oil Free and has an SPF 15 protecting skin against sun damage. The reason why I like this foundation is that it was easy to apply and blends naturally for a Semi-Matte finish. This product goes on your skin as a liquid foundation and then it has a light powdered finish, so when I use this foundation I don't have to set it with powder if I want a dewy glowing finish. This foundation is lightweight and gives your complexion a flawless, silky smooth look that lasts all day. Depending on how you apply it you can achieve a sheer finish or it's build able for a fuller coverage. The foundation also restores uneven skin textures and tones for visibly brighter and radiant looking skin. It has six different shades offering a wide range making it compatible for most all skin tones.

The Six Shades from Light to Dark are:
-Porcelain
-Sand
-Buff
-Caramel
-Almond
-Coco

I recommend this foundation. The cost is $6.00 size 0.8 oz, so I feel like it's an affordable beauty buy, and you can purchase it where e.l.f. is sold.

NYX Finishing Sprays in Dewy Glow and Matte

Hello Gorgeous Viewing Bloggers,

What I'm loving right now are the NYX Finishing Sprays in Dewy Glow and Matte, I purchased both of them on Cyber Monday and they both are Amazing. These finishing sprays are light weight, water based and protects your just "applied makeup." They also shield your makeup from temperature variations, sweat, and air pollution. With these great setting sprays you only have to apply your makeup once and it stays in place with out dealing with constant reapplications through out your day. These finishing sprays are so awesome and long-lasting that they are used by Professional Makeup Artists and in Professional Makeup Photography. I highly recommend both NYX Finishing Sprays in Dewy Glow and Matte, each of them are $8.00 for 2.03 oz and you can purchase them where NYX is sold.

e.l.f. Studio Daily Moisture Stick Review

Hello my Gorgeous Viewing Blogger's

This week my new favorite beauty product is the e.l.f. Studio Daily Moisture Stick, I purchased this product on Cyber Monday when e.l.f. was having there half off all products. I gave it a try and I found it easy to use, it's a clear gel with a formula that nourishes and hydrates the face and body. This moisture stick is light weight, soothing, multi-purpose balm, cooling, and non-greasy. The Balm has antioxidants and anti-aging ingredients.

The ingredients include:
-Grape
-Cocoa
-Shea
-Avocado
-Macadamia
-Aloe
-Chamomile

This Daily Moisture Stick is a secret weapon for winter skin, it can be used on dry patches and over your makeup during the day for a quick touch up (great for fine lines under the eye). I use it everyday to condition and moisturize my face and have been happy with it. The packaging is very covenant for home or travel, It works like a deodorant but for your face and other dry areas on the body. The price is $6.00 for 0.53oz and you can find it were e.l.f. is sold, I think it's a great price for all the benefits you receive.

M.A.C. Paint Pot shade "Quite Natural"

Hello Gorgeous Viewing Beauty Blogger's

This week my old and new found love is M.A.C.'s Paint Pot in Quite Natural, when I first purchased this paint pot about a year ago I used it just as an cream eyeshadow or an eyeshadow base. I was watching a YouTube video from Jaclyn Hill the other day and she said that she is using the Quite Natural Paint Pot to fill in her eyebrows. As soon as the video was over I pulled out one of my old favorite Paint Pots in Quite Natural and I just had to give it a try on my eyebrows, I was amazed it worked beautifully and the shade was very pigmented. After I applied the Paint Pot to my eyebrows I noticed that it was the perfect shade of a light to medium brunette which is perfect for my skin and hair color. I also noticed that the gel like consistency from the paint pot held my eyebrows in place the whole day with no brow gel needed. This highly pigmented eyelid and eyebrow color goes on creamy but dries to an intense, vibrant finish.

The benefits of this Paint Pot:
-Long wearing
-Great coverage
-Blends smoothly
-Cream based
-Great color payoff for a cream shadow or on eyebrows
-Creaseless
-Shadow base

The M.A.C. paint pot in "Quite Natural" is really a great two in one eye shadow cream and eyebrow shade and it is $20.00 for 5 Grams. I will defiantly be repurchasing this paint pot,  M.A.C.'s Paint Pots have an overall rating of 4.7 out of 5 and I support that high rating, you can purchase this product were M.A.C. products are sold.

Murad Instant Radiance Eye Cream

Hello Gorgeous Beauty Blogger's

I was shopping at Sephora and I had 100 pts. so I decided to try the Murad Instant Radiance Eye Cream deluxe sample. I've been using it everyday for a week and I give it a thumbs up, this is my new love for this week. I have been searching for a good eye cream for a long time, and this eye cream is my favorite so far. I have used so many different eye creams I've actually lost count, but this eye cream is great because I can apply it around the whole eye area from under the eye to the eye brows. The constancy of this eye product is a light silicone when you first apply it and then is smoothes out and your eye area becomes soft and hydrated. This brightening under eye and eye lid treatment is clinically proven to minimize the appearance of dark circles and restores smoothness. This eye cream supports natural collagen production to plump the look of skin and brightens to restore skin's radiance. It also contains Retinol Palmitate and Tangerine Butter that absorbs quickly and smooths the skin around the eyes.

This formulation is made without:
-Parabens
-Sulfates
-Phthalates

This eye cream is Scientifically proven, Dermatologist Developed and not tested on animals. You can find this eye cream anywhere Murad is sold for the full size it's $68.00 size 0.5 oz for right now I'm liking this cream because you can apply it under your makeup and it helps you makeup last. I recommend this product but I'm still in search for "The perfect eye cream". If you have any suggestions to give me on a eye product that your loving please comment in the box bellow.
