Hello Gorgeous Viewing Beauty Blogger's

This weeks beauty product review is on the new exclusive limited-edition Anastasia Contour Kit. This kit comes in a palette with six shades: Three for highlights and three for contouring. The contour kit contains blendable formulas to sculpt and define features such as eyes, cheekbones, nose, and jawline. The powders are silky smooth and highly pigmented making it ideal for professional makeup photography. The darker shades are great for shaping and defining, the lighter shades sculpt and enhance features. This contour kit is versatile as well with the color pots being removable and refillable, making it an attractive kit for professional makeup artist. The six shades included in this kit complements almost every skin tone, and is great for beginners and makeup professionals.

Six Shades Are:

* Java
* Vanilla
* Fawn

These powder formulas are Dermatologist tested to be hypoallergenic. I highly recommend Anastasia Contour Kit, I personally use it in my everyday regimen when I am applying my makeup. Unfortunately, this product is not in stock almost everywhere I was able to buy my kit at the makeup show in Los Angeles, CA. The Contour Kit is $40.00 size 0.11 oz each for the six color pans.

Recommended Brushes:

Inspiring Words

Hello Gorgeous Beauty Viewing Blogger's

This week I have hand picked some Inspiring Words from external sources and I would love to pass them along to you. I hope you feel inspired like I did!

* Makeup is not a tool meant to make an ugly thing beautiful, it is meant only to magnify the beauty that already exists.

* Marry a man that will waste your lipstick, not your mascara.

* Beauty comes from within and makeup is a way to express what one feels inside.

* All is fair in love and lipstick.

* Vanity is the spice of life.

* Attitude is a small thing that makes a big difference.

* Make confidence the must-have accessory.

* Family isn't always blood. It's the people on your life who want you in theirs; The ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile and love you no matter what.

* Believing involves thinking, talking, and acting as though you have already received what you've asked for.

* True love and loyal friends are two of the hardest things to find.

* How to be confident:
   -Stop comparing
   -Think positively
   -Accept mistakes
   -Don't let anyone define you
   -Set personal goals
   -Get a makeover
   -Do something you love
   -Spend time with yourself
   -Be comfortable with yourself ALWAYS!!!

* Be confident in the skin your in, because that is the only body you will ever have, the only place that will ever be solely yours. Even if you will never be as skinny as those super models, or the beauty who makes everyone stare, you can be beautiful in your own way. And you have to accept that, and own it.

* Cry. Forgive. Learn. Move on. Let your tears water the seeds of your future happiness.

* You are beautiful....pass it on.

* We all have times when life feels hard; When we're frustrated and tired and just want to hide away. If that's you right now, don't worry every caterpillar has to rest to become a butterfly and you'll soon find your wings again. In the mean time, let your angels wrap you in theirs. You are so loved.

* Love is the most valuable thing in life.

Thank You very much for taking time out to view my Blog. If I've inspired just one person than that will be one of my greats accomplishments.

Make it a Beautiful day TODAY!!!

e.l.f. HD Under Eye Setting Powder

Hello Gorgeous Beauty Viewing Blogger's

This weeks beauty product review is on the e.l.f. HD Under Eye Setting Powder. This finely milled powder is great for setting under eye concealer. It is long lasting, has great coverage, makes eyes look awake, bright, and hydrated. It is a multi-tasking powder making it a great day time highlighter for eyes and cheeks..... it also helps in avoiding mascara smudging. As a Makeup Artist it's important that it has HD light diffusing properties making it perfect for on camera or daily use. This eye setting powder also camouflages fine lines, dark circles, and imperfections. The silky powder adds a velvety finish ideal for wearing it alone or setting in cream concealer. As an Licensed Aesthetician It's important to me that the makeup I recommend has skin care benefits as well as a great makeup product. This under eye powder is infused with vitamins C and K that helps restore and strengthen skin for a revitalized appearance. I use my finger for application, you can also use a triangel sponge and dab it underneath eyes like an eraser.

CON'S

* The brush that comes with the powder doesn't give the best application
* The powder has finely milled sparkles

I recommend the e.l.f. HD Under Eye Setting Powder to anyone who is uncomfortable with dark circles and fine lines. This powder is easy to apply, has good pigmentation, and has a smooth application. The only real drawback to this product is the finally milled sparkles, the way I get around that is using an eye shadow brush and blend. I think for the price it's something to check out it's $3.00 size .04 oz/1.2 g and you can get it where e.l.f. products are sold.

Clinique Lash Power Feathering Mascara

Hello Gorgeous Beauty Viewing Blogger's

This weeks beauty review is on the brand New Clinique Lash Power Feathering Mascara. I was shopping at the Ulta in Goleta, CA and I stopped by to talk to Morgan Morrison the greatest Clinique Consultant ever. It's very nice to have a friend in the beauty retail business that knows that I do beauty product reviews for other cosmetic lines. I was able to try the New Clinique Lash Power Feathering Mascara for the first time at that Clinique counter. Morgan and I opened the new mascara  and she watched as I applied it to my lashes. The mascara claims to give feathering benefits, I agree somewhat that it does what it claims to do. Things that I LIKED about the New Clinique Lash Power Feathering Mascara are it lengthens, looks natural, nice brush for application, keeps the lashes separate and is very easy to remove with warm water or eye makeup remover. I left Ulta to continue my shopping and I checked out the mascara 30 minutes after initial application and it had already started to flake. The things that I felt the mascara was LACKING are it's not buildable, mascara didn't stick to lashes, goes on dry, light black in coloring, flakes and smudges quickly and doesn't make lashes fuller. This mascara comes in two shades Black Onyx and Dark Chocolate and is $17.50 a tube.

I do NOT recommend the New Clinique Lash Power Feathering Mascara to my Beauty Blogger's. I feel like Clinique is trying to be competitive with other cosmetic lines introducing a fiber mascara and it was unsuccessful. My personal rating of this mascara is a six out of ten. Although this beauty product didn't stack up to other fiber mascaras, I do enjoy other beauty and skin care products from the Clinique line. Thank You Morgan for letting me be a part of product sampling the new Clinique Mascara.

Thank You so much for taking the time out to read my beauty blog. If you have any comments, questions, or if you would like me to do a product review please comment in the box below.
